Namibia...

This 12 day cross country, road safari provides a fantastic insight into the stunning landscapes and atmosphere of this remarkable land. Group size is limited to eight guests. All meals are included. There is no camping on this safari, although there are nights in comfortable permanent tented camps.

Days 1 and 2: The Namib Desert
The safari begins early in Windhoek. Depart for the Namib and head for Kulala Tented Camp (or Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp) for the full Namib desert experience. Travel along the Tsauchab River bed to see the towering dunes surrounding Sossusvlei.  You will have the opportunity to climb the highest sand dunes in the world.

Days 4 and 5: Skeleton Coast & Damaraland
Leaving Swakopmund, travel north up the infamous Skeleton Coast. Visit the Cape Cross seal colony and continue up the coast past any remaining shipwreck sites and across windswept plains. Leaving the coast, travel inland to Damaraland Camp where there is an opportunity to track Desert Elephant.

Days 6 and 7: Etosha
From Damaraland continue to Twyfelfontein and the rock engravings before heading on to Ongava Tented Camp. Etosha, covering an area of 22,000 square kilometers, offers excellent game viewing opportunities and Ongava will be the only chance to see White Rhino.

Days 8 and 9: Etosha
Travel east through Etosha toward Fort Namutoni gate and Mushare Lodge for the next 2 nights. En route, stop at the numerous perennial springs found along the edge of the pan in search of Lion, leopard, Elephant and Black Rhino.

Days 10 and 11: Okonjima
Travel south to Okonjima Reserve, situated near the Waterberg Mountains. It is an excellent finish to the safari. Activities here center around game viewing, bird watching and walks. There are excellent opportunities to photograph cheetah and leopard.

Day 12: Windhoek
Depart Okonjima and return to Windhoek by mid afternoon.
